Mars Chocolate UK marked National Tea Day on April 21 by launching of Galaxy Swirlers, an addition to the Galaxy portfolio.

Galaxy Swirlers is made up of easily breakable Galaxy chocolate fingers which are perfect for dipping into hot beverage and sharing with friends or family.

The new launch will be available in two flavours Caramel Crunch and Shortbread Crunch - and will be hitting stores in May.

Bep Dhaliwal, trade communications manager, Mars Chocolate UK, said: We are continuously looking to identify new flavours, formats and trends that complement our Galaxy chocolate perfectly, and Galaxy Swirlers is the next step in our journey, following the success of Galaxy Crispy and Galaxy Salted Caramel.

Galaxy Swirlers appeals to consumers who love to share with family and friends and enjoy chocolate with a hot drink, and is set to drive a new wave of shoppers to the category.

The launch will be complemented by POS solutions that communicate the sharing moment in-store.

Additionally, Galaxy is the UKs most advertised chocolate brand in the UK, on air for over 42 weeks this year with an investment of over 13m, ensuring it will be front of mind for consumers when they are in-store.

Galaxy Swirlers are available in cases of 19 bars and the recommended retail price is 2.09.
