Geoff Thomasson (pictured below), chief executive of chiller company Husky, has these festive chiller tips:

Drinks need to be chilled effectively maintain a minimum temperature of 5C.

Keep your storage equipment tidy and, where possible, matching in colour and style.

Keep stock at the front of glass cabinets and have drinks labels facing in the same direction.

All chillers should be kept as spotless as possible.

Visibility and illumination are important customers must be able to see the product clearly to optimise sales potential.

Chillers should be whisper-quiet nothing above an almost inaudible hum.

Chillers should have self-closing doors.

Choose a product with an electronic control system.
