Burglars steal cigarettes from forecourt shop

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a burglary at the Co-op Texaco petrol station in Charnham Street, Hungerford.

At 2.20am on Thursday (December 11/12) three offenders arrived at the petrol station in a dark coloured Audi convertible. Two of them forced entry to the petrol station and stole a large quantity of cigarettes, before leaving in the same vehicle.

Both offenders had their faces covered and were dressed similarly in tracksuit bottoms, dark hoodies and dark trainers.

Anyone with information which could help with the investigation is asked to contact Detective Constable Joanne Bettington from Newbury police station via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
