Thames Valley Police is appealing for information after a robbery at a filling station in Witney, Oxfordshire.

At around 9.50pm on Saturday August 15, a man entered Cannon Pool service station in Hailey Road, threatened staff with a bar and demanded money.

He then took cash from the till and left the scene on a motorbike which he had parked by the cash point on the forecourt.

He drove away towards Hailey. No one was injured during the incident.

The offender is white and was wearing a black motorcycle helmet, beige trousers, a black and yellow jacket and orange gloves. He was carrying a red rucksack.

The motorcycle is black with bright blue trim on the wheels.

Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the petrol station at the time of the offence, or who saw someone matching the description of the offender entering or leaving the shop.

Officers would also like to speak to anyone who knows a person owning a motorcycle matching the description or who has seen a motorcycle like this in the area.
