Bedfordshire Police are appealing for witnesses to an armed robbery on a forecourt in Luton on Sunday 10 July.

At around 11.45pm a man was sitting in a car on the forecourt of the Shell filling station on Eaton Green Road when he was approached by a man with a gun.

The offender demanded that he hand over his keys and phone, before the victim escaped and ran from the scene.

The offender is thought to have been part of a group of around four men who also made off. They are all described as white, skinny and aged between 18 and 25 years old.

Detective sergeant Emma Langwith said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who has any knowledge of this incident, or witnessed a group of men behaving threateningly or unusually near the petrol station.

“This was a terrifying experience for the victim and we are dedicated to finding the people responsible to prevent any further offences.”
