Cadbury Trebor Bassett has two confectionery launches for the summer. Available now, Trebor Extra Cool is a new sugar-free mint and is backed by forecourt-specific activity, with free samples being distributed in sites nationwide.

The sweet has a 'double mint format' - a translucent boiled outer shell made from pure mint oil and an 'extra cool' centre. It comes in peppermint and spearmint flavours in handy roll packs of individually-wrapped mints.

Also set to hit the shelves mid-month are Bassett's Party Babies. An extension to the popular Bassett's Babies range, the new 180g bag features playful baby characters in eight fruity flavours made with natural ingredients. The launch will benefit from a £2.5m media spend behind the Bassett's brand in 2006.
