Crime could finally pay for forecourt traders thanks to a new, forthcoming Sky One documentary.

Raw Cut TV is offering to pay £500 for clips of robberies, shop thefts, drive-offs and drunken behaviour caught on camera for an eight-part series about street crime.

But series producer Steve Warr said the programme is not just another clip show – it will use the CCTV footage interspersed with filmed stories with different police specialist crime units, enabling the programmes to put the video clips in a more realistic context and show what it’s really like to police Britain’s streets.

“CCTV is increasingly becoming more imporant in securing convictions and this documentary is very well defined in terms of right and wrong,” stressed Warr.
