Imperial Tobacco has introduced new packaging across its Richmond cigarette range. Available now, the updated design aims to generate additional interest in the brand. Iain Watkins, trade communications manager at Imperial, says: "Richmond has been a resounding success but research indicates the time is right to move the brand on. The range generates annual expenditure in retail outlets in excess of £1.6bn and Richmond superkings and superkings menthol are the biggest-selling above-king size and menthol variants respectively in the UK." Imperial has also added new ultra slim filter tips to its Rizla range and there's a new pack design for the existing slim filter tips. Both of these are said to offer margins of more than 52% for retailers, and will be supported by in-store POS material, sampling, on-line support and cross-selling in Rizla Green booklets. 0117 963 6636 |
