A move from pouch to PET format is expected to boost sales of Taut - described as the first ’clean’ sports drink - and cement its position in the £140m sports drink category.

Its distinction is that it has no preservatives, artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners. It is an isotonic blend of water, fruit juice, glucose and natural sugars.

It will now be available in silver bottles, rrp £1.15, in three flavours - cranberry & blackberry, orange & mandarin, and lime & grapefruit. Taut Endurance, for more serious athletes, comes in a lemon flavour, in a black bottle.
