A customer ignored an armed robber and paid for his petrol during a filling station raid - despite having a gun pointed at him and being told to go away. The driver, who had just filled up, put the cash on the counter as the drama unfolded at a Jet station in St Peter's Road, Leicester. The armed robber, hidden by a hood, escaped with cash and cigarettes after threatening the cashier with what police believe was a handgun. The cashier said three people had walked in while the place was being raided. All three were threatened; two left but the man who had filled up insisted on paying. |
