Gripfit is offering retailers a fixed-frame mat which it claims is an easier and cheaper alternative to traditional entrance mats. Instead of the loosely-fitted matting placed into floor recesses, businesses can now fill in the well and replace the mat with a fixed-frame mat. A low-profile frame is fitted onto the surface and this holds the moisture-retaining mat, which is then easy to remove and clean. Gripfit says this is often more cost-efficient than having to repair, replace and re-dig an existing mat well.
