Ranger Services aims to crack down on drive-offs with its new automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system. The company uses the same technology as in its car park management system - where specialist ANPR cameras decipher the vehicle registration mark on vehicles. The system allows 'one touch reporting', meaning staff only need to touch one button to capture the information. Ranger Services then checks all VRMs for vehicles previously known for drive-offs. 0208 3875573
