Meat snack Coan Biltong is fast gaining sales in the forecourt sector.

With food-on-the-go in such high demand, it offers customers a tasty, ready-to-eat treat which is low in fat and high in protein.

The packaging is designed for increased shelf presence and the snacks are displayed on a durable plastic hanging strip which holds eight bags.

There is also convenient merchandising for point-of-purchase impact, while the product is MSG-free.

It has a 20-week shelf life from production.

Coan Biltong aims to be a high-value alternative to existing products. It comes in seven flavours: original beef, pepper beef, garlic beef, chilli beef, garlic chilli beef, seasoned beef and seasoned game. To celebrate its success in the UK market, the company is offering 10 free strips of Biltong to 10 retailers.
