The company has already installed 60 of its espresso machines in Somerfield forecourts around the UK, and the remaining 40 will be on site in the next few weeks.

Each unit sells fresh, gourmet Arabica coffee from fair trade sources for just £1 per cup.

Simply Coffee founder Jason McNally said: "Just because someone is grabbing a cup on the hoof while stopping to fill up their car doesn't mean they should have to put up with sub-standard coffee at silly prices."
