Visitors to the International Forecourt & Fuel Equipment (IFFE) show 2009, which is being held at the Birmingham NEC from March 1-3, will get to see Gulf's Le

Mans-winning Aston Martin DBR9. That's because the company is sponsoring the entrance to the show and its Gulf Oil Visitor Experience will include the car that won this year's 24-hour endurance race.

The Top Indies dinner will be on Monday March 2 - research for the latest Top 50 listing is starting now.

Upwards of 90 companies will be exhibiting at IFFE. Oil companies include GB Oils, Harvest Energy, Murco and Pace. Car washes have, of course, become an important profit centre for forecourt retailers so the car wash companies will be out in force. So far Air-Serv, Istobal, Karcher, Ryko, WashTec and Wilcomatic have all signed up. Show director Matthew Butler said: "We know that it's an extremely tough trading environment out there and that some people might be reluctant to take time out of their business to visit the show. But IFFE 2009 will give visitors the opportunity to meet with suppliers face to face, to gather information and advice."
