Haribo’s Starmix is celebrating its 15th birthday with the addition of a ’very cherry alien’ sweet in bags. The new sweet was decided upon via a public vote. Consumers could choose from very cherry alien, totally tropical alien or citrus blast rocket.
Haribo brand manager, Katy Clark, said: "Right from the start, very cherry alien was a popular choice for voters and we certainly believe that it will make an interesting new shape and flavour to the Starmix birthday bag."
The limited edition 160g birthday bag will be available until the end of the year. It has a recommended retail price of £1.12. The bag will be supported by a strong marketing campaign which includes above-the-line activity.
