Fairbanks’ big deal

 

 

Fairbanks has been appointed by Morrisons to provide tank alarm monitoring, wet-stock analysis and loss investigations. The company will also provide on-site meter calibration and verification services. This is all in addition to the risk assessment work it already does for Morrisions. Fairbanks’ commercial director, Michelle King, said: "The industry has embraced the benefits of real-time data analysis and we are pleased that such a significant operator as Morrisons has chosen our system."

 

 

Pace’s growth spurt

 

 

Pace Fuelcare has added 15 new independent sites to its network since it refreshed its image 10 months ago. The new sites include the MRH (GB)-owned Elmstead forecourt near Colchester, which switched from Texaco. Meanwhile, 45 existing Pace dealers now have the new imagery after re-signing for another term. These latest additions take Pace’s site total to 148. The company said the brand was being favourably received by prospective, new and existing dealers as well as by customers.

 

 

Waitrose’s new fascia

 

 

Waitrose has said it is looking at creating a new fascia for its convenience stores. The news follows the announcement that it is planning a massive expansion programme. The company says it has the potential to add 220 more supermarkets to its current total of 231 by 2015. In addition, it is hoping to add 1,000 new partnership sites. It currently has agreements with Boots, Shell and Welcome Break.
