RMI Petrol is to be known once again as the Petrol Retailers’ Association (PRA) by popular demand. The name was changed more than two years ago to better reflect the Association’s status as part of the Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMI).
However Brian Madderson, chairman of RMI PRA said: “The decision to change the Association’s name back to PRA follows a call from our members for us to do so.
“Following the recent restructure within the RMI, which gave all its associations’ total independence, the PRA is in a better position than ever to meet its member’s needs. If our members feel that the name PRA better reflects their Association then it is important that we listen and act on this.
“The Association will continue to represent members to Government and external organisations and liaise with key industry players and bodies.”
