The Tokheim Eye forecourt security and retail system, which brings pumps, payment and imagery equipment together, has been shortlisted for a national business award.

Metro Security Tokheim’s international partner for the full range of Tokheim Eye systems has been shortlisted in the Innovator of the Year category by the Growing Business Awards, with the winners being announced on November 25.

The Growing Business Awards, which are hosted by Real Business and held annually in association with Lloyds Bank, are supported by the CBI. They recognise SME and entrepreneurial success and the organisers report an unprecedented number of entries this year.

Following the shortlist announcement, Trevor Wallace, Metro Security’s managing director, met with a judging selection panel in October to answer questions about Tokheim Eye’s capabilities in offering forecourt owners/managers a variety of valuable opportunities to protect fuel sale margins, tackle shrinkage losses and implement a range of operational and customer care benefits on-site.

Following a successful trial in 2012 at Ron Perry & Son’s two service stations on the A19 near Hartlepool, Tokheim Eye is now being rolled out into forecourts around the UK, as well as internationally.
