The pilot scheme, which is being rolled out at eight UK sites, will see a selected range of M&S fresh food, ready meals, sandwiches, wine, flowers and basic groceries being sold alongside multi-branded impulse goods.
BPs Wild Bean Cafe format has also been re-branded and features new-style baguettes, an upgraded hot food offer and more in-store bakery goods.Graham Sims, retail director for BP pictured with Jill Bruce, head of food formats at M&S said: We are testing the creation of a unique customer experience. If successful the concept could be rolled out to all BP Connect sites.
