Chartman exploits World Cup opportunity

23 September, 2015

Top 50 Indie Chartman Group is making the most of the opportunity presented by Rugby World Cup matches being played around the country.

The group’s flagship Winning Post Store, at Haldon Hill on the A38 outside Exeter, has been comprehensively decked out in Heineken colours to promote the drinks company’s Rugby World Cup sponsorship activity.

The forecourt store lies on the approach to Exeter's Sandy Park Stadium, where three of the matches are being staged.

Retailer Clive Sheppard commented: “There’s a fantastic buzz going around Exeter at the moment with all the World Cup activity.

“We’ve got everything from fanzones to yarn bombing, and had Basement Jaxx performing in the city at the weekend. It’s great to be working with one of our main suppliers to embrace the fantastic atmosphere that’s out there.”

Chartman Group is ranked 38 in the Forecourt Trader Top 50 Indies with nine sites across the West Country.
