Forecourt Trader - 30 years at the heart of the fuel retailing community

Triple stabbing on Liverpool forecourt

08 June, 2016

Three men with stab injuries have been found at a petrol station in West Derby, Liverpool.

Police were alerted to the incident by paramedics at around midnight on June 6 and on arrival at Larkhill Filling Station on Queens Drive found three men being treated for injuries to their upper bodies. All three were taken to hospitals for emergency treatment.

Detectives said they were treating the incident as a targeted attack and appealed for witnesses. In particular they want to hear from anyone who saw a silver Ford Focus Titanium being driven away from the scene.

Detective chief inspector Phil Mahon from Liverpool CID said: “We believe this was a targeted attack and our investigation into who is responsible and why they did this is still at a very early stage.

“The men who were attacked have suffered serious but thankfully not life-threatening injuries and they are being treated at local hospitals. We hope to be able to speak to them to establish how and why this happened.

“Although it was very late at night there may have been people using the petrol station nearby or driving along Queens Drive who saw the incident or the silver Ford Focus driving off. If you have any information please call CID on 0151 777 4065 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
