Kiln Park Service Station, Tenby, has won the Best Gulf Site category at the SuperStation awards, the forecourt standards competition developed by Certas Energy.

Judges said they were impressed by the impact of its roadside presence, immaculately presented forecourt and commitment to the community.

Following the victory, Paul Merriman of Kiln Park said: "We were hugely proud to make the final, to win is amazing and I dedicate this award to each one of our hard-working staff.

"In Gulf we have a strong and trusted partner and with their support we will continue to invest in the business to further improve the experience for our customers."

At the awards ceremony at Chesford Grange, Warwickshire, Ramsay MacDonald, retail director, Certas Energy, said: "SuperStation acknowledges the flagbearers of our industry; grafters, visionaries and innovators who are setting new standards in forecourt retailing.

"Year-on-year the quality of entries increases and to win is a remarkable achievement.

"We congratulate all of our finalists, who day in day out are working tirelessly to provide their customers with the highest possible standards of service. They are all a credit to the Gulf brand, the community they serve and an inspiration to us all."
