Pace Petroleum is switching 22 of its forecourt stores from Budgens to Spar. The transition will take place between now and the end of the year. Pace/Malthurst already trades with all five of Spar's mainland UK regional distribution companies via 20 of its existing sites.
Chevron's Europe marketing vice-president, John Lynn, has been appointed President of the UK Petroleum Industry Association (UKPIA). The trade association represents the main oil refiners and marketers in the UK. Lynn succeeds outgoing president Dave Blakemore, business strategy manager at ConocoPhillips Ltd.
