Product news: Shaking up the shelves

Tracy West ·

Orangina is gearing up for summer with new ‘Bikini and Trunk’ packaging for its 420ml bottles. Sporting eye-catching beachwear, the limited edition designs are rolling out now.

Inspired by nostalgic summer memories, the designs make the most of the iconic Orangina bottle shape and are set to cater to the growing demand for soft drinks over the summer. Already worth £9.8m (IRI data), Orangina continues to go from strength to strength, growing by 46.7% in the past 52 weeks.

Jamie Nascimento, head of marketing for Orangina and Ribena at Lucozade Ribena Suntory, comments: “We’re ambitious with Orangina and are always looking for ways to push creative boundaries to surprise and delight consumers. We want our customers to continue to enjoy Orangina and believe our limited edition packaging will create even bigger and better stand out on shelf to drive sales.”

To ensure continued awareness and brand engagement among target audiences, from August onwards Orangina is investing in a campaign, which includes a £2.4m investment across outdoor, experiential and sampling activities.

Orangina’s limited edition packaging is available in single bottles, rrp £1.19, and packs of four, rrp £3.69.
