product news: Pladis introduces Jacobís Cracker Crisps Thins
Published:  10 August, 2018

Pladis has introduced Jacobís Cracker Crisps Thins, a new launch in the crisps and snacks category.

Jacobís debuted the original Cracker Crisps format in 2015, combining the crunch of a cracker with the flavour of a crisp. It is now seeking to build on the popularity of the range by launching a thinner and crispier snack with lighter texture, without compromising on flavour.

Steve Monk, director of the regional brands business unit at pladis UK&I, commented: ďJacobís Cracker Crisps have been a terrific success since launching two years ago, becoming an established brand and the leading baked product within premium sharing crisps and snacks. We look forward to driving further growth to the category by offering this new snacking experience to consumers through their light and crispy texture and flavour-packed taste.Ē

Available in 130g sharing bags, the Jacobís Cracker Crisp Thins range has three flavours Ė Mature Cheddar & Roasted Onion, Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper and Thai Sweet Chilli.

When a major car manufacturer like Ford predicts that sales of its electrified cars will outnumber petrol and diesel models by 2022, does that ring alarm bells about the possible speed of change for forecourts?
