Bakehouse is introducing two products aimed at the healthier snacking market. Booster Bars contain fruit, nuts and seeds and are ideal for eating on the go.
Available in two varieties: honey & hazlenut and superfruits, the bars are high in fibre and low in saturated fat. Each 65g bar contains at least one tablespoon of fruit so can be counted as one of the five a day fruit and vegetable portions.The bars are delivered frozen and are ideal for forecourt stores with limited space as they do not need to be heated or cooked ? just thawed. Bakehouse recommends merchandising the bars as an on-the-go breakfast substitute.Retailers should also consider displaying them near other 'grab and go' items to target consumers looking for a healthy, filling, on-the- go snack. 0800 234034
