fraud protection package
Published:  13 January, 2009

British company PinProtect has launched a new security product designed to protect Chip & Pin users and retailers from fraud.

The company says the innovative design on the Pin-Defender unit limits the view of the key pad to all except the user, and so protects the customer's PIN number from being seen. It also eliminates the problem of covert cameras and 'rogue' staffing issues, therefore reducing liability.

Scott Hodges of PinProtect says: "We believe that all businesses asking customers to use Chip & Pin technology need to offer the latest security features to protect both the company and the individual from fraud." He adds that the product range is easily fitted to existing payment card readers and keypads - and can be installed in one minute. We have 10 Pin-Defenders to give away.
