Heinz spices up dinner time
Published:  30 January, 2009

Heinz says it is giving busy mums a helping hand when it comes to preparing home-cooked meals for the family with the launch of a new range of tomato purees infused with herbs and spices.

It says the range of four Heinz tomato purees stands out from the crowd as it contains all the flavour that mums need to cook popular family dishes such as spaghetti bolognese and chilli con carne - in one tube.

Joining the original Heinz plain tomato puree are tomato puree with garlic; tomato puree with chilli; and tomato puree with Mexican spices.

The latest additions from Heinz aim to breathe new life into the purees category. Striking packaging featuring images of the puree ingredients such as tomatoes, chillies and garlic give the range real prominence on-shelf.

To celebrate the launch of the purees, Heinz is giving 10 readers a case of each of the four flavours.
