IFFE success for Harvest

Since exhibiting at the International Forecourt & Fuel Equipment exhibition (IFFE) in March this year, Harvest Energy has more than trebled the number of independent forecourts which have converted to its brand.

Two of the most recent conversions, completed in the last month, are at Holloway Head in Birmingham and Hoath Lane, Wigmore in Kent.

Commenting on the rebrand, Malcolm Jones of the Holloway Head site in Birmingham, said: “My wife Heather and I are overwhelmed with how our site has been transformed, and in just the first week of trading as Harvest Energy, we saw a marked increase in fuel sales, which we put down to our newly-competitive fuel prices, and the clean, bright and fresh forecourt.”

Meanwhile, Andrew MacDonald of Pearl Motors in Sheffield, met with Harvest Energy at this year’s show, and signed up shortly after the event. His site was successfully re-branded in August and has been showing a steady uplift in fuel and shop sales since.

Simon Davis, head of sales and logistics for Harvest Energy, said: “IFFE is a great platform to meet with both existing and potential dealers. It’s a people business and that’s what Harvest Energy is about. You can meet our team at IFFE 2011 on stand H70, by the show entrance.”

IFFE 2011 will take place at the Birmingham NEC from February 27 to March 1. It runs alongside the new National Convenience Show which replaces the Convenience Retailing Show.
