Official opening of Symonds' latest forecourt

21 July, 2011

Today sees the opening of Somerset-based Symonds Forecourts' latest site in Wells, Somerset.

The BP-branded forecourt with Budgens store was opened by the local Mayor at 10am, while customers queued along the road to enter their new local c-store.

The forecourt has a Washtec SofTecs rollover car wash, vacuum, buy-time jetwash, air/water unit, cash machine and six pump islands.

The store offers an extensive fresh and chilled range, including three shelves of deli-style olives, hot food to go, JJ Beanos fairtrade coffee to go, off licence, and fresh bakery, as well as the usual convenience store offering.

Speaking before the mayor cut the ribbon to officially open the site, Symonds Forecourts managing director Jeremy Symonds said: "This is an exciting morning for us."
