Price-marked move

Mars is introducing price-marked packs for three of its best-selling bitesize brands. Maltesers, Galaxy Minstrels and M&M's peanut pouches are all available in packs flashed at £1.99.

Galaxy smooth milk, Galaxy caramel and Ripple single bars are also available price-marked at 55p each.

Mars' trade communications manager Bep Dhaliwal says price-marked packs can help to drive sales and footfall in store and also give consumers increased confidence in the price they are paying for a product.

She advises retailers to stock up to make the most of the opportunity and also to capitalise on this summer's big events by creating attractive displays and adding in-store theatre.
