Limited edition cans of Kick Energy drink feature a promotional tie-in with Ubisoft's Far Cry 3 video game. The activity gives consumers a chance to win a tropical island adventure in Thailand. Using QR code technology, consumers who scan the code on the can with their smartphone are taken directly to the competition's website where they also have the chance to win Xbox 360 consoles and Far Cry 3 video games.

Global Brands distributes the drink. Marketing director Simon Green said: "Kick Energy is a fantastic British brand with a great proposition and unique marketing links to gamers, who make up 68% of all energy drink consumers. Kick's connection with this huge video gaming market has also resulted in a phenomenal response from the US market, where Kick Energy is an important brand for retailers to consider when planning their energy drinks offering."
