Shell UK Oil has confirmed that Mick McMahon, retail director for the UK & Ireland, will be moving on to a new post within Shell.
McMahon joined Shell UK Retail in January 2002 with responsibility for implementing the Global Retail Strategy (GRS) across the UK Retailbusiness. He will now be moving to Shell Europe Oil Products (SEOP), taking on the role of European retail strategy, portfolio and marketing manager.McMahon’s replacement has been named as John Rasmussen, who will be moving from the position of retail marketing operations manager, SEOP. Rasmussen’s appointment to the role will be effective from November 3. Rasmussen joined Shell in April 1982 as a graduate area manager. He became retail marketing operations manager, SEOP in September 2000.
