Top 50 Indie Sewell Retail has installed a CBE EPoS system to cover its 12 fuel sites and provide a head office software package to allow for greater control of all store operations.

The system chosen by Sewell Retail includes CBE touch screen units with customer-facing advertising screens, a CBE WinRetail back office solution and mobile handheld device for each site. The system integrates with the CBE fuel solution and links with the BP Dione payment terminal.

All sites are linked to the CBE web portal which ensures that they automatically avail of the latest releases of the software.

Sewell Retail managing director Patrick Sewell said: "We spent over two years researching the epos market before selecting CBE as the chosen solution. CBE had everything that we needed and demonstrated a clear willingness to help us achieve our system ambitions not only now but also into the future. Their proactive approach and their style of wanting to work with us was the key to us purchasing the system.

"Since we installed the CBE WinRetail system, we have been able to improve business margins at head office level and at each store."
