Ladyacre opening

Independent retailer Bryce Smith has converted the old car showroom at Ladyacre forecourt in Lanark, into a 1,100sq ft Spar-branded convenience store.
The site has traded as a petrol station, car dealership and workshop since 1963, but the new shop now offers customers a full convenience offering, including an off licence. The official launch saw customers enter three prize draws to win an Irn Bru bike won by Stewart Harvie with Smith, Nintendo DS, or a year’s supply of Cadbury chocolate.
