A refreshing sunset
Published:  02 February, 2015

Levi Roots Soft Drinks is launching a new Jamaican sunset flavour to help retailers respond to the growing demand for exotic drinks. The watermelon and guava flavour will be available later this month in a £1 price-marked 500ml pack following its successful introduction in 2ltr bottles in the grocery channel.

Levi Roots brand manager, Nina Uttley, said: "We've already established Jamaican sunset in the grocery channel and know that the flavour is loved by consumers so we've developed a 500ml price-marked pack format to help convenience retailers offer a new exotic drink from a brand in demand."

Levi Roots Soft Drinks is worth £4.7m (Nielsen).

When a major car manufacturer like Ford predicts that sales of its electrified cars will outnumber petrol and diesel models by 2022, does that ring alarm bells about the possible speed of change for forecourts?
