Lindt delivers seasonal growth
Published:  05 September, 2005

Lindt and Sprüngli enjoyed sales growth of 30% for its Christmas 2004 range. The company says much of the success was due to its Gold Reindeer. The 50g reindeer is available once again this year, and retails at £1.99.

New to Lindt’s Christmas line-up is the 200g limited edition Lindor Orange Cornet (rrp £3.49 for 200g). And the original Lindor milk cornet and assorted cornet are available in 200g packs for £3.49 and 337g for £5.79. The milk cornet is also available in a 50g treat size, rrp 99p. Also new is a sample size of Swiss Tradition – 40g, rrp £1.99.

When a major car manufacturer like Ford predicts that sales of its electrified cars will outnumber petrol and diesel models by 2022, does that ring alarm bells about the possible speed of change for forecourts?
