HMRC officers seize illegal products in north Wales

An operation to disrupt the sale and supply of illegal tobacco and alcohol across north Wales has uncovered more than 440,000 cigarettes, 169 kilos of hand-rolling tobacco and 2,700 litres of alcohol, all believed to be illicit.

ACS calls for targeted action on illicit tobacco and alcohol

The Association of Convenience Stores (ACS) has responded to the publication of HM Revenue and Customs’ report on the prevalence of illicit alcohol and tobacco in the UK, calling for targeted action at a local level to reduce the impact of the illicit trade on responsible retailers.
