Forecourt Eye launches new subscription structure

Fuel loss recovery expert Forecourt Eye has unveiled a new subscription structure which aims to match different service options to evolving customer needs.

Cashing in with epos

As the range of products and services offered by forecourts has increased, a wealth of new solutions is being offered by epos suppliers to handle every conceivable transaction and work seamlessly with retailers' back-office systems. Seamus McHugh, international sales and marketing manager at CBE, says that the best of the new technology also allows retailers to curb their costs in a way that wasn't possible in the past. He outlines ways they can do this:

Admedia continues with its Nexus network roll out

Out-of-home media owner Admedia has announced the next roll-out phase of Admedia Nexus, which it describes as the largest roadside digital full-motion network across the UK. From this month, the Nexus network will increase from 18 to 30 key sites that connect the UK's top 20 conurbations.

EDGEPoS installed at first forecourt in England

The EDGEPoS solution has been installed at the first petrol station in England since P&C Services was appointed by Henderson Technology as an EDGEPoS reseller in the UK. P&C worked with Henderson Technology to develop and install the system and train its staff at the BP and Spar-branded service station at Kegworth.

Roadchef's recycle deal

Certas moves another network's ops to the cloud

Certas Energy has moved its operations for another service station network to the cloud. Following the migration in France, Certas Energy is now also controlling its 210 stations in Denmark using iGOS (Implico Global Operation Services), the cloud solution for downstream services. Implico again carried out the migration. All processes are now running in the cloud, from transmitting planning data to the tank terminals, to service station billing.

Robot will inspect tank while product is still present

A robot that will allow tanks to be inspected while they are still in service is being developed by Phillips 66, the owner of the Jet brand.
