HTEC owner Universe combines with Celtech

Universe Group, the parent company of HTEC, has combined with Celtech Software. Celtech is a developer of retail and wholesale management solutions (RMS) based in Dublin. Its ab-initio software product is a cloud-based RMS offering that gives large, multi-site operators a modular suite operating in real-time and allowing them to control all aspects of their business with full reporting, insights and analytics. As such, it meets the needs of Universe's larger customers and broadens the Group's customer base in the UK and Ireland.

French firm MADIC acquires TLM and the evolution suite

French group MADIC has acquired TLM, developer of the evolution suite of technology for forecourt operators and convenience retailers. Lee Papper, TLM CEO, added: "I'm delighted with our agreement with MADIC group, securing TLM's future and creating a fantastic platform for business growth. The acquisition will see TLM's evolution product suite developed and deployed internationally with the backing of a world-renowned player in the fuel and convenience market.
