Cracked Egg Muffin in time for Easter

Aryzta Food Solutions has launched a Cracked Egg Muffin under its Otis brand.It is supplied frozen for thaw and serve and comprises a chocolate chip muffin with a vanilla cream centre, finished with a white chocolate cream cracked egg decoration. It comes in cases of 28, rrp £1.49. Pos, including posters and shelf barkers, is available for retailers to drive interest and footfall to the bakery fixture.

Boost offers a blind date with a big difference

Red Berries is the latest flavour to join the Boost energy drinks range. The launch is backed by a partnership with Tinder, where consumers have the chance to win 'a dream date like no other'.

Orange returns to Bournville chocolate range

Cadbury's Bournville Orange is available once again and is now part of the permanent range. The bar, which combines a strong cocoa taste with real orange fruit pieces, was first launched in 1927 and was brought back for a limited time in 2009. It is now being brought back to market to tap into the trend for orange chocolate. It is available in a 100g £1 price-marked pack and non-pricemarked packs with an rrp of £1.49.

Carb Killa named protein bar Product of the Year

Grenade's Carb Killa has won the Product of the Year award in the Protein Bar category at the 2019 Product of The Year Awards. Product of the Year is the UK's largest consumer survey of product innovation, with over 10,000 shoppers voting each year to crown the winning products in each category and achieve the red seal of approval. The awards, now in their 15th year, champion the best products on the market each year.

Walkers is expanding its flavour range with the launch of BBQ Pulled Pork and Spicy Sriracha.

Country Choice rolls out three Viennese pastries

Country Choice has launched three new Viennese pastries. The Muesli and Blueberry Extravagant has a filling of almonds, rolled oats and malted wheat flakes, sweet blueberries, topped with rolled oats. The Triple Chocolate Extravagant combines white, milk and dark chocolate in rich, flaky pastry. And the Raspberry Cheesecake Extravagant has a New York cheesecake-style filling made with whole raspberries.

Lucozade Sport is running a new campaign for its functional water brand, Lucozade Sport Fitwater, built around 'More Than Water' messaging.

Pancake campaign

The 'Pancakes Love Nutella' Pancake Day campaign is back as part of a £1.9m media investment behind the brand. Limited-edition jars are also available.

Blue's better tip
