Capital Cooling has launched the Pegasus Clear View, which it describes as “an all new approach to impulse ice cream display”.

By opting for an upright freezer over the standard well or pod type unit they say they have improved visibility of the contents and reduced the freezer footprint by more than 57%, while offering the same display area.

The Pegasus is supplied with seven shelves and 14 dividers enabling it to display up to 21 product lines, and full height LED lighting illuminates the products with pure white light.

Marketing manager Fraser Scotcher commented: “We feel that it is time people had a different option for displaying pre-packed ice cream and lollies and our Pegasus Clear View gives them just that.

“It takes up less space than the likes of a three-tier freezer, has the same display volume and offers increased product visibility. It is also cheaper too, so all in all we think it is a great option.
