Gwent Police are appealing for information following a robbery that happened at the BP Petrol Station on Malpas Road in Newport, at 4.10am on October 26.

They are looking for four men in connection with this incident, and have appealed for information to locate 18-year-old Thomas Hunt from Pontypool.

The first is described as white, wearing white trainers and a black Adidas hooded top with a grey panel on the chest and grey stripes. He was also wearing black tracksuit bottoms.

The second is described as white, wearing blue jeans, a black hooded shell type top and black gloves.

The third is described as possibly Asian, wearing army style trousers, a black parka jacket with a fur trim hood and black gloves.

The fourth is described as wearing light coloured trousers and a black puffa-style jacket with a red logo on the upper left chest area and a hood with white material underneath. He was also wearing black gloves.

A spokeswoman said the four men were possibly seen leaving the area in a small red car.

She added: “No one was harmed during the incident, but the shop-keeper is understandably shaken.”
