Nestlé Rowntree is planning to boost retailers’ confectionery sales this summer with the launch of its KitKat Kool It promotion.

Thousands of prizes will be up for grabs on KitKat four-finger packs, including a Ford Streetka car and mini fridges. Each wrapper contains a promotional code, which consumers can either text via their mobile phone or enter online to find out if they are a winner.

The promotional packs also feature an innovative way of informing consumers when their KitKat is the ideal temperature to eat. A big blue yeti appears behind the KitKat logo on the front of the pack, and the three white snowflakes will turn blue when the bars are chilled.
