Mars' new launch spreads goodness across the UK

Mars Chocolate UK has unveiled a new treat called goodnessKNOWS, its biggest brand launch in the UK since Celebrations. It comprises four snackable squares crammed with fruit, whole nuts, rolled oats and dipped in dark chocolate. It is available in three varieties: Cranberry & Almond, Blueberry & Almond and Apple, Peanut & Almond. Mars says it is made using the "best quality ingredients, with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, all coming in at under 160 calories".Rrp is 90p for a single bar; £1.99 for a pack of three. It also says goodnessKNOWS isn't just about tasting great, it's also a treat with good intentions.

The brand will give 10% of all sales profits to the 'goodnessKNOWS Fund', which will support community projects and local initiatives.

Michele Oliver, vice president marketing Mars Chocolate UK, said: "Following a successful launch in the US last year where it became the third-largest brand in its first six months, we're thrilled to launch it in the UK."
