Two of the biggest names in impulse products are running promotions that give consumers access to free films. Nestlé Confectionery has teamed up with Sky Store for its promotion where consumers will receive a £5.99 Sky Store Buy & Keep movie voucher in return for collecting four promotional packs from its range of sharing bags.

The promotion features on KitKat Bites Milk and Peanut Butter, Milkybar Giant Buttons, Aero Peppermint Bubbles, Smarties and Munchies sharing bags as well as Rowntree’s Fruit Pastilles and Randoms sharing bags.

With Sky Store’s Buy & Keep you get the digital copy to keep on your TV or devices and the DVD sent direct to your home. Buy & Keep prices start at £5.99 and anyone can use the service, not just Sky customers. The promotion will be backed by a £2m media spend.

Meanwhile, Walkers sharing bags, Bugles and Mix Ups feature a Movie Nights promotion in conjunction with Rakuten TV. Promotional packs contain a unique code and shoppers need two codes to claim a movie which can be streamed through their chosen device (web/smart TV/app) .

The launch of Walkers Movie Night is supported by a strong marketing campaign including TV advertising, digital and in-store advertising.
