A contract for DRB UK Maintenance to install signage at 80 MFG sites is only the latest in a string of prestigious business wins for the company, according to managing director Robert McArthur.

The project involves rebranding of 80 sites to the newly introduced 2Di Esso canopy branding image along with synergy works. The work is currently ongoing with completion scheduled for mid May.

In addition DRB has recently completed the installation of the Esso Synergy brand across 70 Euro Garages sites.

The company is also one of three electrical contractors in partnership with Shell/Artelia on a £70m project across various sites for Waitrose and Budgens, and has won the electrical contract for the BP Airport City development in Manchester, where

BP has recently won planning permission for a filling station, M&S Simply Food convenience store and drive-thru Costa Coffee.

Other recent business wins include full shop, canopy and forecourt refurbishments for Annandale Services and BP Peebles. The Annandale project included full electrical installation including supply and installation of a bespoke mains distribution panel.

DRB already holds the national signage maintenance contract for BP and has also been awarded several major canopy conversions to convert them from HIT lighting to Cree LED canopy luminaires which carry a ten-year product warranty and DRB five-year labour warranty.

Robert McArthur said: “It is testimony to our team’s hard work and professionalism in the office and field that we continue to be the contractor of choice on many of the major projects and roll out programmes being carried out in the UK.”
