Rolec EV adds DC rapid chargers to its range

John Wood ·

Rolec EV, an electric charge point manufacturer and installer, has added DC rapid chargers to its range after signing a partnership agreement with Delta Electronics for the UK market.

Kieron Alsop, Rolec’s managing director, commented: “After intensive research, which included undertaking a comprehensive due diligence process, we felt Delta and its high quality DC rapid charger range was the perfect fit for us, complementing our already extensive AC charging range.

“One of the key factors in choosing Delta as our DC partner was the impressive range of charging speeds and capacities they currently offer. These include 25kW, 50kW, 75kW, 100kW, 125kW and 150kW Ultra-Fast Chargers (UFC) with the majority of the units featuring up to 6 x charging outlets and the ability to charge up to four electric vehicles simultaneously.

Rajbir Kambo, emobility & smart energy solutions sales director for Delta Electronics’ Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region, commented: “We are delighted to have appointed Rolec EV, one of Europe’s leading EV charge point manufacturers, as our preferred partner for the UK market.

“We look forward to closely working with them to further strengthen the nation’s DC rapid charger network and provide a full installation, maintenance and after sales support service.”

“With Rolec already established as one of the world’s leading AC charge point providers we felt that they were the best placed company within the UK to take the Delta DC rapid charger range forward.

“With immediate effect Rolec will become our UK stockist of DC chargers and associated components.”
