product news: Boost Drinks steps up support

John Wood ·

Boost Drinks is stepping in to help support independent retailers with a series of promotions across its energy drinks range.

Boost is relaunching a promotion it ran successfully at the start of the year, offering independent retailers the opportunity to buy 12 bottles for the price of 10 on its 500ml and one litre Boost Energy Original price-marked SKUs – some of the bestselling products in the Boost Energy range.

To help ‘boost’ sales even further, the independent business is also bringing back its Boost Energy Original one litre SKU at the promotional price of £1.
The energy, protein and sports drink producer also recently extended its product range with a new energy SKU, Cosmic Glow. The mix of grape and cherry is designed to attract more consumers looking for deeper flavours in the winter months.

Simon Gray, founder and managing director of Boost Drinks, said: “We are constantly talking to retailers and wholesalers, finding out about the challenges they face and then, as a team, we look at what we can do to help. We know that, after the summer peak, retailers are looking for support to help keep soft drink sales up so, as well as launching a new variant that really stands out on the shelf, we’re running two promotions that focus directly on the return for retailers.

“It’s been a great year for Boost, we’ve seen success across the board and now have the number two Sports and Energy SKU in the UK, which is great for an independent business that continually punches above its weight. We want to pass our success back to our customers, so we’re constantly looking for new products and promotions to give them the best chance of keeping sales up!”

Both promotions are available now and will run until the end of November.
